Join the Aquafides Authorized programme. Two professional pathways to advise and audit water footprint under the Aquafides Protocol v3.2.
The Aquafides Protocol v3.2 establishes a non-negotiable functional separation: the person who advises a client cannot be the same one who later audits their file. That is why we offer two independent training pathways, designed for different professionals in the water footprint ecosystem.
Aquafides Authorized Advisor Course
Target profile: environmental consultants, water engineers, corporate sustainability technicians, ESG officers.
What you will learn: WFN + ISO 14046 methodology, AWARE factor per catchment, water inventory, blue/green/grey footprint calculation, drafting of the Technical Report and the Water Footprint Reduction Plan, mapping to ESRS E3 / GRI 303 / CDP Water.
Accredits to: support clients throughout the entire certification process under the Aquafides Protocol v3.2, up to the delivery of the file to the Auditor.
Format: online + downloadable materials + mentored case study.
Aquafides Authorized Auditor Course
Target profile: accredited environmental auditors, technicians of certifying bodies, professionals with prior experience in ISO 14064 or ISO 14001 who wish to expand into water footprint.
What you will learn: independent verification under Annex IV, documentary review of files, evidence evaluation, issue criteria for the Aquafides Certified (State B) certificate and, for senior auditors, the Aquafides Excellence (State B-Bis).
Accredits to: issue the independent audit opinion that gives rise to the public certificate at aquafides.org/certificados.
Format: online + intensive in-person + mentored audit of a real file.
Prerequisite: demonstrable prior experience as an auditor of environmental management systems.
A professional can hold both accreditations, but cannot act simultaneously as Advisor and Auditor on the same file. This is the structural guarantee of impartiality of the Aquafides Protocol v3.2.
