1. Data controllers
There is a dual controller for the data collected through this site:
- Aquafides SLU — Edificio Ribasol, Bloque 3, 4T 3A, AD-400 Arinsal – La Massana, Principat d'Andorra.
- Aqua Fides SL — Spain office at C/ San Vicente Mártir, 85, 2º-3ª, 46007 Valencia (Spain), CIF B98792195.
2. Applicable legal framework
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and LOPDGDD 3/2018 for data processed from the Spanish office; Andorran personal data protection regulations for data processed at the headquarters.
3. Purposes
Management of commercial contacts, training (Academy), certification process, newsletter sending and service improvement.
4. Data subject rights
You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent by writing to info@aquafides.org. If you reside in the EU, you may complain to the competent supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Data Protection Officer (DPO): Aquafides is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. For any enquiry on the processing of personal data, you may contact info@aquafides.org.
5. Retention period
During the contractual relationship and, subsequently, 5 years for the purposes of compliance with legal obligations.
6. Recipients and transfers
Data is not transferred to third parties except by legal obligation or strictly necessary providers (hosting, email, analytics) that process data on behalf of Aquafides with the corresponding signed processing agreement.
Email subscriptions and double opt-in
For the management of subscriptions (newsletter, resource downloads and commercial communications) Aquafides uses as data processor Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), headquartered in France (European Union), under the corresponding processing agreement. The legal basis is your explicit consent, gathered through a non-pre-ticked box.
Every subscription is confirmed by double opt-in: after the form you will receive an email to confirm your address; only then are you added to the corresponding list. We retain as proof of consent the date/time and IP address of the submission. You can unsubscribe at any time with a single click from the link included in the footer of all our emails, or by writing to info@aquafides.org.
7. International transfers
International data transfers will be expressly declared in the event of using providers located in the USA or other third countries, together with the applicable safeguards.
